OUR STORY

Key Moments

Manum In Vulnere was born in December 2017 in Geneva. The NGO is officially recognized by the municipal, cantonal and federal authorities, and of public utility since 04.16.2018

“I am convinced that with few resources, it is possible to help and improve the daily life of the most disadvantaged children.
Let us act together with goodwill to offer them a future.”

Antoine Patriot, Founder.

Antoine Patriot left Madagascar in 2014 to settle in Geneva with his wife Nieves Patriot, where the headquarters of the NGO resides.

He kept close ties with Sister Claudine who looked after an orphanage located in Nosy Be. Called upon by the lack of means at her disposal, he decided to act by creating Manum In Vulnere, with the aim of fighting poverty and helping children.

Unfortunately, Antoine Patriot left us in 2020, leaving behind this nascent NGO. Family and friends got together and set up a team more than motivated to bring M.I.V. to life, in order to pay tribute to Antoine but above all to help disadvantaged people in Madagascar.

The actions of M.I.V. moved to Fianarantsoa and more precisely to the public primary school EPP MAHAZENGY.

The Founder

Born October 17, 1969 in Paris, Antoine Patriot was made aware of the plight of the poorest populations from an early age. After living in Haiti for 15 years, his journey took him successively to the Philippines and then to France, before settling, in 2008, with his wife Nieves, on the island of Nosy Be in Madagascar. This period was an opportunity for them to meet Sister Claudine, responsible for an orphanage with difficult living conditions. The couple, very sensitive to the cause of children in great precariousness, befriends the sister, and actively helps her. In 2014, the couple moved to Geneva while maintaining very close ties with Madagascar.

“Antoine left us prematurely in July 2020 in Geneva. If his departure was particularly painful for us, we are determined to continue his work for the benefit of the most vulnerable ”.

Antoine is unanimously described by those close to him as being a man who is deeply humanist and endowed with great generosity. Endowed with a very great adaptability, he has always been able to integrate himself as closely as possible to the populations of the countries where he has lived. He will not have ceased to work to help those most in need.

Faithful to the values and spirit of Antoine, the members of the association wish to pay tribute to him by making the O.N.G. live and grow. that he founded.

“May the adventure continue … and may their smiles be our greatest reward”
